dear diary,
hehehe.. I saw my crush today.. haha! j/k
I realized something today that I wanted to share. It’s that as much as possible, use percentage on your CSS. My first reason would be that (1) it will be much, much easier for when there are minor changes.. and I know that there will be changes! (2) your UI can then stretch.. (3) It can be the best time to practice your math.. hehehe! [that's just one of the perks actually.. hihihi].

My cute little brother is turning 9 this Monday!
I saw him staring at the calendar this morning.. hehe!! The baby in the family is all grown up. Can you believe that he actually has a girlfriend now? (And it’s not the first girlfriend.. — ohboy!)

On my way to another meeting, I saw this student studying. It must have been for a very, very important exam because I know reading on a moving vehicle is not good. It got me thinking. To some, she might’ve appeared to be very studious. But to me, she was just cramming.
What I’m getting at is not that I’m a very negative person.. (nope.. I try to be very positive each day! Thank you very much). I just wanted to send a message to all the students out there that cramming really doesn’t work. I know because I’ve been there.
When I was in College, I would prepare for an exam by creating a “study guide” that I’d hope to study an hour before the exam (because I’m normally an hour early at school). And it never worked.. because once I get to school.. we’d sit down on this bench and one by one my classmates would come.. and we’d talk and talk and talk and talk.. and soon I’d forget that I was supposed to study my “study guide”.
To those fortunate enough to still be in school, study every night. Cramming is only for the genius ones.
To the rest of us (or you), take the time to study. Be calm during exams…
I promise that being diligent will bless you in the end.

Dear Diary,
Today, I encountered this thing that my co-worker named as “WSD (or White Screen of Death)”. I normally get it because I’m on a strict environment. The very first time I got it, I was really, really, really REALLY scared. I thought I broke something. I know I did break something.
It turned out, there was just an error that needs fixing that’s why it’s giving me a whole screen of pure white-ness :p. I know I sound like errors don’t scare me that much anymore. Well, time (and days filled with WSD) has taught me something.
Don’t panic. Panicking really won’t help. Believe me. Next, search for the small things you might have missed. 95% of my WSD encounters were caused by {[(;)]} –characters I learned to love and hate. If not, there’s always google.

Since you already know that I like reading stuff at omg.yahoo.com, there’s this something I noticed that I wanted to share..
(Disclaimer: I am not a Fergie “fan”.. I know she’s someone in the entertainment world though..).. Anyways, today.. I was here: http://omg.yahoo.com/photos/2-hot-2-handle/3560#id=3 .. It’s a picture of Fergie for 2-hot-2-handle.. While waiting for the next image to load.. I browse through the comments.. and realized (again) that you really can’t please everyone else.. or that (again).. people notice the bad in someone more so than the good in them.
You see, if my memory serves me right.. I saw a picture of Fergie at Golden Globes and people were “all” commenting on how bad her hair was (comments like: she should have done something with it.. & etc).. So, when I saw her picture with her hair nicely done — that’s the first thing I noticed. But when I scrolled down, people were not happy with her dress… not a single word about her hair (at the time I was reading).. arrgh! It’s either (a) people woke up on the wrong side of the bed, (b) people think that “hating” is way cooler than being nice.. Either way, I came to a conclusion that you really can’t please everyone and that sometimes people will notice the bad parts better than the good pieces.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you’re sooo tempted to say something bad, it might be better to not say anything at all. (But don’t lie either..)

Every little girl loves to play princess.. I know I did (and still do
).. So, when I saw this on one of my friend’s account.. I thought it would be nice to find out which Disney Princess I am..

You are a talented dreamer, and always dream of that one special guy. You are very sweet and graceful. Not you are only beautiful, but you have many friends because of your outgoing personality. You also love to sleep, and don’t want your life to change in anyway. You are a great singer and you love to dance.
(Sooo sooo love it!
Though I really didn’t thought I’d be Aurora.. hmmm.. nice!)

One of the things I love most about my phone is its trusty alarm clock. I did say I don’t like waking up to my alarm clock.. but there’s a great workaround that I recently noticed. Maybe, like a lot of you.. your alarm clock has an option to play a song instead of its generic *totally annoying* sound. If not, that’s just sad
. A year ago.. my alarm clock’s song was Jesse McCartney’s “Beautiful Soul” .. now who wouldn’t want to wake up to Jesse McCartney’s voice telling you you’re totally beautiful?
Go ahead.. change your alarm clock to wake you to a beautiful day.

I woke up today.. and wanted to go back to sleep! (the bed was just so cozy and it was cold.. it was that perfect morning to sleep in.. ) But, I still had a lot of check boxes to check off on my TODO list.. Then I realized it’s friday!
No, I work on fridays.. hehe.. it’s just that it’s the last day of work for the week.. and it usually starts our exciting weekends..
So.. off to work! bye everyone..

Just came from breakfast with the family.
Warning: you might not really get the joke if you’re not an LDS.
For the past weeks, we have been teasing my mother.. You see, when we started team-teaching Seminary, she challenged me (and herself) to memorize the 25 Scripture Mastery verses. We’re studying the Book of Mormon this year.. One day, she started reciting 1 Nephi 3:7.. “And it came to pass, that I Nephi, said unto my Father, Lehi” … nyahahhaa!
This morning, we were talking about “dtmu” (days to make up).. Kayceline, my younger sister.. said that when she was in Seminary.. her dtmu assignments were also really long with a lot of explanations, personal experiences and etc. She then proceeded to give one example “In Lehi ___ “.. nyahahhaa! She was really, really serious.. until me and Mariz (our youngest sister) started laughing.. hehehe..
*For those who didn’t understand.. (1) on 1 Nephi 3:7 .. “Lehi” isn’t in the verse.. (2) you won’t find the “Book of Lehi” in the Book of Mormon.
That’s all folks.. I hope you smiled a little bit.. I always enjoy eating with my family
that pretty much explains why we’re so big… *wink
